Mantua 2-6-6-2T Engine Tune Up

The decision was made to epoxy the PC board to the gear/axle cover. But before doing that I soldered plugs to the board for
un-plugging the wires if I ever need (probably will many times) take the cover of. If you only take the cover occasionally, I'd
solder the wires right to the board. I use pins from tooled IC plugs, plus ones with longer ends that are used for wire wrapping.

I use the long ones as the female plug. I get the individual plugs out by cutting the IC holder apart.

This step shows four plugs together. I made the four hole connector for another project.
The individual pins can be cut out as will be shown in one of the next pictures.

This is the male pin. Same procedure as with the female pin.
The wire is then soldered into the end of the plug.

Wipers have been soldered on. Ready to solder on the female plug.
