The plastic gear with the two missing teeth.

Using putty I made a small container to hold the rubber mold material. Extra putty was used to fill in where the missing teeth are. This keps the rubber from filling in this spot.

The cavity was filled with rubber casting material.

A cavity was left where the missing teeth where.

The gear is turned approximately 180 degrees so teeth fill the cavity.

More rubber casting material is poured into the cavity.

The excess cured rubber is cut away to revel the top of the gear.

I noticed this one tooth cavity the was blocked by some rubber casting compound. I didn't find that until I poured the resin casting.

I poured the resin and made a big mess. Not the best way to do this.

This is where I discovered the missing tooth, after the pour.
